A Prophet's Message and the Global AI Threat

Published on 6 March 2025 at 16:25

If someone approached you claiming to be a prophet sent by God to deliver a divine message, would you believe them? Unfortunately, for most people, the answer would likely be no. There are several reasons for this skepticism:

  1. Many in our generation no longer believe that God communicates with us through His audible word.
  2. The message might contradict personal beliefs or doctrines, and with over 45,000 different interpretations of faith worldwide, confusion and disagreement are inevitable.
  3. Ego and jealousy often cloud our judgment, making it harder to accept such claims.

I’ve often been asked, “Why wouldn’t God speak to me?”

Ai and the signs of the times

The greatest mistake I could ever make is to deny who I am and the purpose God has given me. I fully understand that many will never believe me when I say I have been sent as a prophet to deliver a message. I know most will doubt that Christ speaks to me through an invisible yet unmistakably audible voice—a voice as clear to me as your friend’s words are to you. I am aware of this skepticism. So, why affirm it? Because it is the truth.

How do I convince you of this truth? Not through mere words, but by revealing something only God could reveal—something unmistakable. This is not a simple message; if it were, God would not have needed a prophet to deliver it.

In Matthew 16:3, Jesus said, “You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.” So now I ask: can you interpret the signs of the times? How did Jesus reveal such signs? One example He gave was the sign of Jonah. It was a way for people to recognize the times they were in.

Matthew 12:39-40 “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

What signs can we recognize today? Consider COVID-19—do you see it as a sign? I have yet to meet anyone who does. But let me show you, so you might believe this message I’ve been sent to deliver.

Look to the Bible: who sent the plagues? God did. The ten plagues of Egypt were sent to free His people. (Exodus 7-12) The plague of vipers in the wilderness? (Numbers 21) God sent it to reveal the Israelites’ sins. The plague upon the Philistines when they captured the Ark of the Covenant? (1 Samule 4-5) God sent that, too, to secure the release of His Ark. Throughout Scripture, there is no plague that was not sent by God.

So, what about the plagues of the last few centuries? Have you ever considered where they come from? If you are a Christian who believes in God and reads the Bible, have you asked yourself who sends these plagues? Likely not. And yet, the answer is the same: God.

Yes, I am stating that COVID-19—this modern-day plague that has taken millions of lives and continues to claim 500 lives each week—was sent by God. Why? Because God is warning us. He is calling us to wake up. Just as in the past, His plagues serve a purpose: to free, to reveal, to warn. The time has come to open our eyes to the signs of the times. Are you ready to see?

What is the warning we’re being given? Today, it’s about AI. But in truth, technology has always been at the heart of the issue. Over the last few centuries, technology, in its many forms, has been a constant presence through every major challenge we’ve faced. The real concern lies not in its existence but in how we choose to use it. Right now, AI represents the greatest threat we face.

Consider this: in the Bible, plagues were localized to specific regions. None spread globally. Yet COVID-19, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, reached the entire world. Why? Because technology has made the world more interconnected than ever, turning it into a global issue.

Now, let’s think about AI. COVID-19 was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. And interestingly, Wuhan has significant ties to AI and technological development. Here’s how:

AI Research and Development:

Wuhan is home to several renowned universities and research institutions focused on AI. Notable examples include Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, which are at the forefront of advancements in AI, robotics, machine learning, and computer vision. The city has positioned itself as a growing tech hub in China, with AI playing a key role in its broader technological and economic strategies.

AI Startups and Tech Companies:

Wuhan has also witnessed the rise of numerous AI startups and tech companies specializing in areas like facial recognition, autonomous vehicles, smart cities, and big data analytics. These companies often collaborate with universities, driving progress in both national and global AI innovation.

The intersection of technology, global interconnectivity, and AI raises profound questions—and challenges—about how we move forward. The choices we make today will define how we navigate these risks in the future.

This is why God allowed the events in China to unfold first—so we could take notice and reflect. It began there and then spread across the globe. Why? Because artificial intelligence may very well be the "beast" we’ve been warned about throughout our lives. I encourage you to take a moment to read the conversation I had with AI on this subject.
